Stateline Road Smokehouse: Authentic BBQ Experience in Napa

Finally real BBQ in Napa, what a blessing. Kansas style ribs, three different BBQ sauces, cold beer, fantastic salad, and family friendly vibe . Double thumbs up. Great location and great space .

The moment I walked in, my eyes were glued to the screens playing classic movies like Back to the Future, Labyrinth, and The Princess Bride. It was a nostalgic trip down memory lane, and they had my attention before I even ordered my food. I went for 0.5 lb of brisket paired with a side of mac and cheese. The brisket--oh, the brisket--was tender and oozing with flavor. It didn't really need sauce, but there were three options on the table: original, spicy, and sweet. Each one added a distinct touch without overpowering the star of the show. The brisket passed the "pull test" with flying colors: it supported its own weight yet fell apart with just the right amount of resistance. The beef rib was the surprise star of this meal. It was a special for the weekend. Immaculate. The mac and cheese was a great supporting act, with cheese that wasn't runny nor overly creamy to the point of being gummy. Kansas City BBQ versus Texas BBQ? I'm just here for the good stuff. Stateline Road Smokehouse is a solid 5/5 in my book. I can't wait to come back and explore the rest of the menu.

Wow, where do I even begin with Stateside Barbecue? This gem in Napa Valley is a must-visit! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by a casual fine dining atmosphere that was both beautiful and inviting. The open kitchen layout is a fantastic touch, making you feel right at home. Meeting the chef was a highlight—such a kind and thoughtful person who truly knows how to create magic with food. The service was impeccable, with servers bringing great energy and making sure everything was perfect. Now, let's talk about the food! We indulged in baby back ribs, burnt ends, and sides of mac & cheese, potato salad, and their signature beans and greens. And oh, the cornbread! It was like a sundae in its own right. Every bite was a flavor explosion. The banana pudding was absolutely delightful and the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Napa Valley is truly blessed to have Stateside Barbecue. We can't wait to return for another round of deliciousness. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and check it out. You won't be disappointed!

Had dinner here with my partner and it was fantastic! The brisket was fork pull apart tender, the mac n cheese was super creamy and the sausage was extremely juicy and had a fantastic snap to it. Not to mention the staff was super friendly and very welcoming to us, would definitely come here again!

Omg the service here was so amazing. Staff are friendly and approachable. Our food was decent. The cornbread flapjack was an interesting twist on cornbread which I enjoyed. The Yukon gold potato salad was a bit under seasoned for me but I really enjoyed the pork and chicken flavors but unfortunately the meat was pretty dry. The pickled vegetables were not for me which was disappointing as I typically love pickled stuff. The curly fries were decent and crunchy but the aioli that came with it was amazing and I want a jar of it. The condition of the restaurant was very nice and well kept. I would love to return and try some other items like there Mac and cheese.

Starting from the time we entered the restaurant the vibe was great. Got done with some golf and my wife happened to find this place on Yelp and being BBQ junkies we had to check it out. I left extremely impressed having enjoyed the meal. The service was great from start to finish. We had the brisket, burnt ends, macaroni and cheese, potato salad, and banana pudding to wash it all down. Meats were sensational if I had to choose I would go brisket but burnt ends mixed in well with the mac and cheese. I’m a potato salad connoisseur and I have to say it was arguably the best I’ve ever had. Overall, I will be recommending this place to everyone I know. Get the banana pudding if you’re on the fence it’s outrageously good.

Loved Stateline Road Brewhouse! It's a popular great local restaurant with a cool, unique vibe and a simple yet stylish aesthetic. The food was outstanding, and the portions were huge – we saved some brisket for next day. Definitely worth a visit!

I had the beef brisket which was very tender and flavoursome! I also had a side of mixed beans and collared greens which was also delicious. The customer service was excellent and I noticed that the co owner was walking around, checking on tables and chatting to customers.
